So, I've just finished the year's first essay with an hour to go and am sitting staring at the wall feeling pretty damn burned out, which is pretty much the exact circumstances of my last post which was a frigging YEAR AGO, and while this time around I've got 6 days to go until my birthday, this one is my 30th and instead of the cliched mid-life-crisis turning-30 rubbish I was worried about when I was 21, I'm much more scared about the increasing speed with which each year goes by SERIOUSLY, IT FEELS LIKE I POSTED THAT YESTERDAY

(deadline in 20 mins I can do so much better but IDGAF at this point)
(when I finish this I'm going to do all that amazing stuff that has been distracting me from this fucking essay all week)

Holy shit, I just found the corpse of some sort of house spider/tarantula hybrid in the passage. Must have been more than 4 inches across at least with a huge fat body. I'm too scared to get near enough to get rid of it so I've just put a shoe on top it for now :(

So uh, thank you to whichever cat took care of that because I think I'd have had to move out if I'd found that alive. I'll have to get them both a treat tomorrow

Okay, this isn't the kind of thing I generally get wound up about but I'm in grouch mode, SO. IF I HAD A FUCKING PENNY FOR EVERY TIME SOMEONE ON THE INTERNETS ASSUMES A) I'M AMERICAN AND B) THAT I GIVE A CRAP ABOUT U.S. POLITICAL MELODRAMA AND WHICHEVER PARTICULAR FLAVOUR OF IT THEY'RE TRYING TO PUSH ON EVERYONE, I'D HAVE A REALLY FUCKING HUGE TOWER OF PENNIES THAT'S WHAT I'D HAVE. And I'd climb up on top of it and I bet the view would be awesome and I could spend all day throwing pennies at all the little ant people below.
